Notes for Josef VACIN Sr.
Vacin refers to his grandfather coming to visit them in their village, Stará Huť. Vacin also refers to this as his father’s village, where, presumably, he and his mother lived after their marriage. Although Stará Huť is clearly the village of Vacin, Sr.’s youth, he never says where was his actual place of birth.
