Notes for Clyde C. COFFMAN
“Clyde was the son of James and Mary Ann (Hess) Coffman. When a young boy he moved to Texas with his family in a covered wagon and attended school. While attending Bible college at Tecumseh, Oklahoma he became an ordained minister. He held revival meetings in Texas and Oklahoma where he journeyed.

He married Emma Edith "Jane" Martin during the summer of 1927 in Tecumseh, Okla. They were blessed with 4 children. Between 1952-1954 Clyde and Emma moved to Wenatchee, Washington. While resideing there he was a journeyman carpenter by trade. During his career in the construction business he helped to build well known structures such as the Rocky Reach Dam, and the Space Needle for the World's Fair. Including many other projects and structures in the states of Washington and Alaska.
