Notes for Jean Hubert OWEN
Notes from Sue Owen:
Jean Hubert Owen: Served as a 1st Lieutenant in the Army Air Corps, and as a flight instructor in WWII. After the war, he graduated from pharmacy school at OU (University of Oklahoma) and became a pharmacist. He established a hospital pharmacy management company. After being forced to resign by his board, he reestablished the company and went on to become very successful, managing over 200 pharmacies throughout the southern United States. He and two employees were killed when his private plane crashed in 1976. The company was later acquired by Cardinal Health Care in 1996. Jean was married three times and had two sons with his first wife, Lottie Rae Crisman. Their sumames changed to “White” with her remarriage. His other two wives were Judy Alexander and Dian Graves, with whom he was married at the time of his death.
