Ella Mae Saxon: Graduated from “Normal School,” 8th grade, along with Sybil Moss, her eventual sister-in-law who married her brother George Saxon. She was a teacher, then married Hubert Owen and had 3 children. Her best friend was Sybil Moss Saxon, for many years the two families lived in the same town, often next door to one another.
